Runner Entry Level 1
Two days. No experience needed.
This is where you learn the floor skills real venues actually check for on a trial shift: how to move safely around a busy floor, carry plates properly, clear tables the right way, and know what to say to guests.
It's hands-on the whole way through. By the end of Day 2, you'll have practised it for real, not just heard about it, so you walk into your first shift already knowing what to do.
What You'll Learn
Level 1 covers the core floor skills every runner needs before their first shift:
• Body mechanics and safe movement on a busy floor
• Triple plate carry
• Floor awareness and communication
• Table clearing fundamentals
• Error recovery under pressure
• Guest interaction scripts
• Simulated service flow and individual assessment
